FRANGIBLE MAST INSPECTION ON SOUTH RUNWAY

RAAL was awarded a subcontract by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) to inspect frangible masts on the South Runway. The 20-year-old frangible masts are examined for conditions including oxidation, pitting, corrosion, damage, dents, scratches, and the tightness of mounting screws. This inspection ensures the masts provide reliable and safe light guidance for aircraft landings.
