Hong Kong International Airport Reception 2025
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Development, a reception is hosted featuring memorial photos showcasing the evolution of HKIA. With a legacy of excellence as a world-class international airport for passengers and cargo services, HKIA's next vision is to become the premier SKYTOPIA, a state-of-the-art airport city. Gurkha Cup
RAAL is extremely honoured to be the Main Sponsor for the Gurkha Cup Football Tournament every year, traditionally held on Christmas Day, 25th December.
Around 20 teams competed fiercely for the championship at the football pitches in Yuen Long, Hong Kong. The events were always a resounding success, blessed with pleasant weather, comfortable temperatures, and thrilling finals that made it a truly joyful day for everyone. The after-parties were especially memorable, featuring vibrant traditional dances, laughters and delicious authentic Nepali cuisine!

Visit Malms in UK
2024
RAAL is honored to visit Malms’ state-of-the-art Planned Preventative Maintenance System and looks forward to exploring how it can be successfully implemented at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

Marathon in HKIA
2024
The Hong Kong International Airport - Standard Chartered HK Marathon: Three-Runway System International Race took place on November 17, 2024. Many participants, including film stars, joined the run under cloudy skies.
RAAL enjoyed the marathon and welcomes the brand-new Three-Runway System, which introduces a new runway to serve Hong Kong.

🗼Honoured to visit the CAA (Civil Aeronautics Administration) facilities at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, including the iconic Air Traffic Control Tower complex.🗼During productive discussions with CAA officials, we exchanged insights on Medium Voltage (MV) Power Distribution Systems critical to RELIABLE airport operations. It was particularly valuable to share operational experiences and lessons learned from Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), covering system design, resilience, maintenance practices, and future-ready infrastructure considerations.The exchange highlighted the shared commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement across both airports. Reliable Airport Associates Limited (RAAL) had the pleasure of visiting the advanced cable manufacturing facility of Far East Holding Group (FESC) in China.
We were warmly welcomed by the Director, Senior Managers and Senior Engineer, who provided us with a highly detailed and professional technical tour. It was impressive to see their state-of-the-art (AI) production lines in action — from high-capacity cable stranding and extrusion processes to automated control systems and robotic applications. The scale, precision, and quality standards are truly world-class.
A special thank you to the entire Far East team for the exceptional hospitality and the delicious local cuisine that made the visit even more memorable!
This visit has strengthened our understanding of premium cable solutions that can support our airport infrastructure projects (AGL, MV electrical networks, GSE, etc.). Looking forward to exploring potential collaboration opportunities.

A🇮🇹Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)🇮🇹Successfully Completed!

Thrilled to share that we have just wrapped up a highly productive Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at OCEM Airfield Technology in Italy.
Our international delegation — including representatives from AAHK, EMSD, REGALMAC, OCEM, Elibo and RASL — came together for comprehensive technical validation of critical Airfield Ground Lighting equipments, Constant Current Regulators and UPSs.
From hands-on equipment inspections and live demonstrations, to in-depth performance testing under various conditions (including detailed oscilloscope analysis, photometric test lab, climatic chamber, power system verification, etc.), the FAT confirmed that the systems fully meet stringent requirements for reliability, efficiency, and safety — essential for airport operations.
The OCEM team’s expertise, transparency, and commitment to quality were outstanding throughout the visit. We also appreciated the opportunity to strengthen relationships through factory tours, technical workshops, and great team moments together.

Glad to be back at the AUGIER Energy facility, catching up with friends and touring the impressive production site. Had excellent discussions on strengthening our partnership and exploring future projects in airport electrical infrastructure and ground power systems.

It was such an honour for our Director, Mr. Leon Wan, to have the pleasure to support our good friend, SY3 Energy Maintenance Services Corporation, at this premier aviation event in Manila. We had excellent discussions on building smart, safe, and sustainable airports across the Philippines.
A major highlight was sharing our proven expertise in both Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) — drawn directly from the designs, installations, our long-term maintenance and operations experience at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), one of the world’s busiest and most advanced hubs. We exchanged valuable insights on energy-efficient solutions, reliable maintenance strategies, system upgrades, and how these high-performance systems can support the Philippines’ ambitious airport modernization and expansion goals.
The networking was outstanding — thank you to everyone who visited SY3’s booth, engaged in meaningful conversations, and explored potential collaborations.

Great few days at inter airport Europe 2025! ✈️
Productive visit to the 25th edition of Inter Airport Europe in Munich. It was fantastic to walk the halls, explore the latest innovations in airfield technology, and catch up with so many friends and industry partners.
